Based in Farringdon London is: The Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy.
I took my little son there when he was very poorly with Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD). He was late to be diagnosed with GORD so was in a lot of pain nearly all the time for several months. (I will write more about how I coped soon).
I heard about the FPO charity from another mum who took her daughter there when she kept having ear infections. The treatment really helped my son, helping to release a nerve connected to digestion in his neck that could have happened during his difficult delivery.
Rather than paying for the treatment you just give a donation after each session. (I wish now I had made the time to get treatment myself too, you can receive treatment up until your baby is one year).
More about the charity: The Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy, a charitable organisation based in the UK, seeks to ensure that paediatric osteopathy – a gentle, effective and environmentally-friendly treatment – is established as the first recourse for parents and carers concerned for their child’s health.
